AOL uk (2* out of 5*)

REASON-

there extreme capping and customer support is terrible, i have had aol since 2006 and i bought what was called the platinum package (£30pr mth) for 8meg (line capable of 7.6)

to start off with it was amazine quick for the 12month contract i had signed up for but then i heard about another company so when i rang up for my mac code they hassled me into signing another contract, everything the same apart from i would only pay £10pr mth-

ever since i started paying less my connection got worse-at its worst im getting 0.4meg according to speedtest.net

i rang them up other day and played holly hell with them and guess what???

there sending me a free dlink wireless enabled router and my internet is back to its fastest!!

WORD OF ADVICE---->complain as much as you can because they need you more than you need them, plenty of other service providers

Speeds are always good, but internet is oftenly disconnecting.
I pay 12,5 euros per month, the modem was free and I also got all the cables and accesorries I needed.
